Pedro “N”, known as “El Pichón” (The Pigeon), identified as the second-in-command within the criminal cell headed by Fausto Isidro Meza Flores, alias “El Chapo Isidro,” was killed by members of the Mexican Navy (Semar) during an operation in the state of Sinaloa over the weekend. According to federal authorities, the man died after allegedly attacking naval personnel with firearms in an operation that also resulted in two arrests and the seizure of clandestine drug labs. The case gained immediate attention because “El Pichón” was wanted on an extradition order to the United States, where he is accused of crimes
