Just a little over a month ago, assassins from the Mencho Special Forces Group (GOEM) ambushed several police officers in Huixcolotla, Puebla. The crime was recorded on film and released online as a warning to anyone who dares to oppose them. This in turn was enough to convince the remaining officers of the municipal police to resign. A consequence of this is that it forced the State Public Security Secretariat (SSP) to take control of security in Huixcolotla.
