Federal forces apprehended Emilio Alejandro “N,” also known as “H” and/or “Danone,” in Cancun. He has been identified by Quintana Roo authorities as the regional leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) in the northern part of the state. The Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) identifies him as the operational leader of the structure known as “Deltas: Operativa Jaguar,” a cell responsible for the territorial expansion of the CJNG in tourist municipalities such as Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos, Cozumel, Benito Juárez, and Isla Mujeres.
